Important

  • Each eSIM / QR code can be installed only once — do not delete it after installation. Do not scan the QR code repeatedly if issues arise, as this will permanently deactivate the eSIM.
  • You can scan and install the eSIM prior to arrival in Europe / UK — we recommend doing so the day before you depart, in case you need to change phones. The eSIM will auto-activate on arrival.
  • If activation fails, ensure you have a good Wi-Fi connection, try removing the physical SIM and restart your phone. Also disable other eSIMs. Contact us with your order number if needed.
  • Your mobile number will be sent to you by the network via SMS on the activation date.
  • A few days after activation, you may receive an SMS from number 614 asking you to identify yourself — please ignore this message. It is an EU regulation for eSIMs owned for more than 30 days.

Check Data Usage

  • Register and check usage at https://account.travel.bouyguestelecom.fr/auth/register
  • To check data usage by phone, dial 634. At the first prompt, enter your assigned mobile number followed by #. At the next prompt, press 2 and wait for an agent — ask them to speak English to enquire about data usage.
  • For the 30GB eSIM, an automated SMS will be sent when you reach 20GB, and again at 25GB.
